The United Nations General Assembly voted to establish 4th of April each year as the International Day for “Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action”.
To commemorate the International Day for “Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action” and to thank all the donors and the people who supported the programme and made the project possible, the United Nations Mine Action Co-ordination Centre is organizing a Gala Dinner on the 4th of April 2007 at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel.
